Biology and Geology – ESO 3 covers all of the key topics in the curriculum for the third year of ESO. It is written in a simple, accessible style that reflects the English skills of Spanish 14-year-olds. This revised edition covers the LOMLOE curriculum in the majority of Spanish regions.

The main theme of this book is Human Biology. It covers:

• the major organ systems in the human body, as well as the diseases that affect them
• human health, including how to reduce the risk of disease by living a healthy lifestyle

It also includes chapters on the Earth’s relief, Earth’s internal energy and ecosystems. The final chapter One Health looks at how human health and wellbeing are connected to the health of our planet and the natural environment.
