History – ESO 3 18^th and 19^th Centuries is aimed at regions of Spain that study 18^th and 19^th Century history in the 3^rd year of ESO, including Madrid and Murcia. It can be used alongside Geography – ESO 3.

The book covers the period of history that starts with the Ancien Régime and ends with the build-up to World War One. We explain the key political events, including the American and French Revolutions, the Spanish War of Independence and the liberal revolutions of the 19^th Century. We also look at the great economic and social changes over this period, taking in the Industrial Revolution and the changing role of women.
